Mindful WFH Moods

Working from home?

A lot of us began working remotely during the height of the pandemic— while many people have gone back into their traditional workspaces, some are still working from home. Whether you’re working a 9-5, are a student, or working on a creative project, you know that trying to meet deadlines can be overwhelming and bring on different nerves— but just because that happens, you do not have to succumb to those thoughts and feels.

To be more intentional about your workspace, minimize any unnecessary clutter. To ensure laser focus and keep the creativity flowing, try to limit all distractions.

Try working in intervals— two hours of complete focus with 20-minute breaks (be sure to base the time increments on your timeline and workload). Powering through your workload can cause burnout and eventually a creative rut.

Clear the air—light a candle. Our scent OPULENCE is perfect for creative workspaces. It is light and airy, with notes of bergamot, an essential oil that helps with anxiety, and sandalwood, another essential oil that helps with grounding, which is perfect for focus.

Curate a focus playlist whether you enjoy your music blasting or listening to it low-key. I enjoy listening to METAL FINGERS, SPECIAL HERBS (VOL. 1-9) on repeat.
And who doesn’t like food? Be sure to have your favorite snack near you. *Grabs bag of Boom Chicka Pop— Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn*

How can you show up and produce your best work if you're not your best self?

Sometimes just pausing and taking a break from your work can provide the clarity and inspiration you need.
