Candle Care 101
Before you even set the mood here are some tips and tricks to get the most out of your candle.
- Trim Your Wick - It is important to trim your wick one fourth of an inch before each use to prevent soot (excess black residue) from forming in your candle jar.
- Never Leave Trimmed Wicks In Your Candle Jar - It is a fire hazard and takes away from the beauty of your candle.
- Never Leave Your Candles Unattended - To ensure the safety of you, your loved ones, and your living space— please keep an eye out on your candle while it is lit.
- Four Hour Rule - To ensure that you get a clean and even burn allow your candle to stay lit for four hours the first time you use it. After the initial burn be sure to not go over a four hour burn time to preserve the candle and its scent.
- Be Mindful of Your Space - For an optimal experience follow our suggested use— our 7 oz candles are created for smaller spaces and our 13 oz candles are ideal for larger, more open spaces (i.e. living rooms).
