When Wellness Looks Like Stillness

This month, I had to ask myself: What does it really mean to show up?

Because as a founder, artisan, and someone who deeply cares about community - I often feel responsible for curating the energy, the aesthetics, the entire experience.

But truthfully? May reminded me that it's hard to do it all. And even harder to do it all alone.

Between working a job to support myself and pouring into this brand, I found myself stretched. Not just in hours — but in capacity.

I've internalized so much pressure to "be on." To post. To perform. To keep up. But when showing up isn't from a place of overflow... it starts to feel hollow. And I never want From Phoenix to operate from a place that's not rooted in care.

So I gave myself permission to pause.

To take the month slowly. To choose stillness as an act of resistance — and as a return to self.

If you're a founder, a creative, a human just trying to make it through your day: I hope you remember this...

You don't have to be constantly producing to be progressing.

Your softness is strength.

Your rest is real.

And your value isn't determined by your visibility.

We're all still unfolding — one breath, one season at a time.
